She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest N. Serena and Clara DiGirolamo Serena; and her husband David R. Israel. She is survived by: her children, Drake Israel (Annamarie) of Springfield, Stacy Israel of Springfield, Ryan Israel of Washington, DC and Stephanie Israel-McRae (Eric) of Lexington, GA; her grandson David Israel (April); her great grandchildren, Drake and Isabella; her grandson Andrew Israel (Nicole); her great grandchildren, Chloe, Hudson, Ashton and Bennett; her grandson Matthew Israel (Rachael); her great grandchild Henry; her grandson Vincent Israel (Allison); her great grandchild Madelyn; and her brothers, Richard L. Serena (Donna) of Springfield and Gerald E. (late Violet). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
