He was predeceased by: his parents, Sostenes Perez and Rufina Perez (Delgado); and his siblings, Frank, John, Lupe, Mateo, Angelo, Helen Rasso, Natalie Sandoval, Marie Perez and Anita Carlson.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Koechle (Kevin) of Nauvoo, Rebecca Espitia (Hector) of Park Ridge and Eric Perez (Esmeralda) of Oak Park, Illinois.; his grandchildren, Joshua Koechle (Katie), Logan Koechle and Cecelia Espitia; his great grandchild Hudson; and his brother Jesse Perez (JoVita) of Galesburg. He is also survived by his family and spending time with his kids and grandkids.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory (1849 N Seminary St, Galesburg, IL 61401). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
