She was predeceased by: her parents, Alberta Gaines and Willie Perkins; her siblings, Alma Gardner, Willie Mae Jones, Barbara Jean Hayes and Lee Oscar Perkins; and her son Steven E. Perkins.
She is survived by: her children, Tracey, Stacey, Elmer Jr., James and Michelle Perkins; her brother Clarence Perkins; her sister-in-law Sadie; and her nieces and nephews, Linda, Danielle, Reginald, William, Larry Perkins and James Perkins. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren.
