Patricia A. Shafer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia A. Shafer (Springfield, Illinois), who passed away on January 30, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Kuntzmann and Rose Virginia Kuntzmann (Beerup); her husband Robert Shafer; her brothers, Herman Kuntzmann and Gail Swisher; and her granddaughter Emma Shafer.
She is survived by: her children, William Shafer (Patty), Thomas Shafer (Kay), John Shafer (Cathy Schwartz) and Lisa Kidd (Lance); and her sister Dorothy Babiak. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
