He was predeceased by: his parents, James T. Pearsall and Lois F. Pearsall (Greenhill); and his siblings, Rodger McLamb, Eddie James Raynor, Mark Pearsall, Saundra Pearsall and John Pearsall.

He is survived by: his wife Betty J. Pearsall; his sisters, Annette Otey and Beverly L. Smith; his children, Denetra L. Pearsall, Norman A. Pearsall Jr. and Jaime C. Pearsall; his grandchildren, Recina Coles, Adena Parsons, Malina Fisher, Chalena Weathers, Frank Malik Weathers, Gabrielle Johnson, Adalia Van, Jahquel Pearsall, Jajuan Pearsall and Noah Pearsall; and his godson Mario D. Thompson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and cherished family friends.
