She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Eugene Mcdonald Sr. and Doris Lucille Mcdonald (Johnson); her siblings, Micheal Edward McDonald and Wanda Charlene McDonald; and her granddaughter Danielle Angel Roberts.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph Lee Pitts; her daughter April Joann Pitts; her siblings, Robert Eugene Mcdonald Jr., Toni Fountain (Harold), Christine Scott, Twila Overton (Sherman) and Doris; and her grandchildren, Jayeapriel White, Andrew White and Kendrick Pitts. She is also survived by nieces nephews cousins & friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Ruby Funeral Services & Crematories, Inc. (1520 E Washington St, Springfield, IL 62703). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
She was also a selfless supporter of St Jude's Children's Research Hospital, donating every month to help children in need.
