She was predeceased by: her parents, James Bales and Nila Grace Bales (Johnson). She is survived by: her husband James "Jim" E. Borah; her sons, Robert "Bobby" Kerske, Jr. (Angela) of Springfield and Joseph "Joe" Kerske of Springfield; and her brothers, Don, Tony, Tom and Bill Callaway. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made be made to the Animal Protective League.
