She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Hughes and Suzie Hughes (Nash); her siblings, Idell Johnson, Commearl Wofford, Ruby Randolph, Emma Hughes, Climmie Mack Hughes, Mackie Hughes and Joe Milton Hughes; her son Ronald Hughes; and her grandson Malik Hines.
She is survived by: her children, Sonja Slaughter (William), Toni Glasscoe (Michael), Donna Sneed (Dennis), Sharon E. Hines (Tyrone), Terry Hughes and Harold Hughes; her grandchildren, Carlton Slaughter, Cobe Slaughter (Kadeen), Myles Sneed, Trayvon Hughes, Latrell Hughes, Sydney Glasscoe, Shayna Atkinson (Mike) and Maya Hines; and her great grandchild Caleb Glasscoe. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
