With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melinda Viehland of Springfield, Illinois, born in Breese, Illinois, who passed away on September 24, 2021 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Nettles and Jan Nettles (Purcell); and her son Raymond Earl Viehland. She is survived by: her sons, Mike and Josh Viehland; and her siblings, John Nettles (Ann) of Granite City, Debbie Phillips (Alex) of Kinmundy and Bethany Nettles of Carlyle. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
