He was predeceased by: his parents, Melge O. Meier, and Emma Meier, Sr. (Golderman); his wife Patrica Ann Foehner; his son Terry; and his siblings, Wayne and Elena Meier.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey A. Meier (Siony) of Springfield and Carla L. Meier (Stephen Beard) of Titusville; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Thomas Meier, Ryan (Madison) and Adam Balder; his great grandchild Olivia Balder; and his siblings, Mabel Emma (Frank) of Lee Summit, MO, Lucy Suchy (late Thomas) of St. Albans, WV, Marvin Meier (Beth) of Breese, IL and Dennis Meier (Shelia) of Breese, IL. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and; cousins.
