It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Pearson Perkins of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on September 19, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Emmet Pearson and Mary Pearson (Maxon); and her brothers, Thomas Pearson (Anna) and Edwin Pearson (Katy). She is survived by: her husband Harold Perkins; her son Jeffrey Perkins (Krista); her grandchildren, Blair and Maxon Perkins; her daughter Mary Lynn Bertram (James) of Miromar Lakes, FL; her grandchildren, Katie, Abby and Emily; her sister Ann Tucker; and also, Sarah, Erica, Seth and Raea. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
