She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Everett Wilkey and Wilma Cleona Livingston Wilkey; her husband William "Jack" McCarty; her brother Carl Richard Wilkey; and her nephew Corey Wilkey.
She is survived by: her nieces, Andrea Barbknecht (Dave) and Marsha Krepel; and her siblings-in-law, Joanne Mackiney and Junior McCarty (Judy). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Springfield First United Methodist Church (2941 S Koke Mill Rd, Springfield, IL 62711). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Walnut Ridge Cemetery (6316 IL-78, Virginia, IL 62691).
