It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ann McRae of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on April 9, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Mary Ann may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mary Ann touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert McRae and Rita McRae (Dahlinghaus); and her brother James Henry McRae. She is survived by: her sister Jan Broda (Larry); her niece Jessica Broda; her nephew Zachary Broda; and her great-niece Madison Broda.
