She is survived by: her sister Sarah Thomas; her children, Jennifer Barthel (Christopher Gallagher), Lisa Venne (Robert), Thomas Barthel (Marci Jones) and Erik Barthel (Kathi Leicester); her grandchildren, Hattie Venne, Courtney Lague (Ted), Elyse Elexpuru-Venne (Pedro Elexpuru Zabaleta), Nora Gallagher (Devin Byrd), Nina Gallagher, Sullivan, Arianna Barthel, Karl and Peter Barthel; and her great grandchildren, Parker and Jane Lague.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Boardman-Smith Funeral Home (800 S Grand Ave W, Springfield, IL 62704).
