He is survived by: his parents, Barbara Wiley Schmidt (Russell) of Litchfield and Earl Schmidt; his son Nathan A. Schmidt of Springfield; and his siblings, Todd Schmidt (Sheila) of Crawfordville, FL, Sara Lee (Terry) of Phoenix, AZ and Holly Hampton (Rich) of Edwardsville Several. He is also survived by Several nieces & nephews.
