The passing of Marilyn L. Winn of Springfield, Illinois, born in Burlington, Iowa leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on November 17, 2024 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold I. LeSuer and Ruth LeSuer (Darnall); her husband Kenneth D. Winn, Jr.; her siblings, Ruthanne LeSuer and John "Jack" LeSuer; and her son-in-law Richard D. Wilson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jean Winn of Springfield, Anne Tankersley (George) of Springfield and Nancy Wilson of Springfield; and her grandchildren, Lysle Tankersley (Regina), Jennifer Wilson, Leigh Tankersley-Killam, Bryan Wilson (Andrea), Dallas Tankersley (Katee) and Stephanie Wilson (Devon Mendenhall). She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Central Baptist Church (501 S 4th St, Springfield, IL 62703). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
