She was predeceased by: her husband Nicholas John Murphy, Sr.; her parents, John and Ealey; and her pets, Niko and J. K..
She is survived by: her children, Nicole Murphy (Jacob Edmiston) of Edwardsville, IL and N. J. Murphy III (Sydney Harrison) of Springfield, IL; her granddaughter Nora Jo Murphy; and her pet Arlo.
