Lucille Foster Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lucille Foster of Springfield, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 11, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her aunts and uncles, Mary Workman Berry, Lena Carpenter Kroencke, Gelletta Foster Lowe, Catherine Foster Seeger, Bertha Foster Roland, Frances Foster Long, Jeptha Foster, Jaudon Foster and George Carpenter; and her close friend Rita Logsdon.
She is survived by: her son Herbert L. (Guida G. Foster); and her pet Lucille. She is also survived by cousins and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM and on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Concordia Village Resident-Run Employee Scholarship Fund, the Laurel United Methodist Church Choir Fund or the Animal Protective League (APL).
