She was predeceased by: her mother Norma Jean Stringer Dixon; and her granddaughter Megan Merrifield. She is survived by: her children, James Merrifield of Havana, IL and Brooke Herrick of Mt. Sterling, IL; her father Earl Samuel Dixon; her grandchildren, Sunshine, Sierra, Star and Galax; her great grandchild River; and her brothers, David Dixon of Dallas, TX and Ricky Dixon of Morrisonville, IL..

Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protective League.
