As Lillian departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Lillian may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Lillian leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William H. Burton and Rutha B. Burton (Redford); her son Dallas Burton; and her nephew Chester Rooks. She is survived by: her children, Ronald Burton (Gail), Roger Burton (Denise), Janet Eberhardt (Tom) and Jeannie Roberts (Wayne); and her nieces, Doris J. Seales and Mildred Shelton. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
