It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leo Gene Fore (Springfield, Illinois), born in Jeiseyville, Illinois, who passed away on October 9, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Leo Gene may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Leo Gene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Fore and Vivian Fore. He is survived by: his wife Jane Grebenc of Chisholm, MN.; his pet Missy; his daughters, Jennifer Rossi (Rhett) and Sarah Schlafke (Jamy); and his grandchildren, Taylor and Kobe Rossi. He is also survived by niece; and several nephews.
He played throughout his adult life, only hanging up the mic in 2020 when the pandemic and the beginnings of his illness made gigs less enjoyable.
