With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lawrence Richard Carlson of Springfield, Illinois, born in Clinton, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 13, 2025 at the age of 64. He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Lea Carlson and F. Richard Carlson of Terre Haute, IN.. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Lee Carlson; and his sisters, Nancy Luann Carlson (Mike Heddleston) and Lynnette Rae Carlson (Joni Reagan).
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the Central Baptist Church (600 W Birch St, New Berlin, IL 62670). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be given to Lincoln Memorial Garden and Nature Center at lincolnmemorialgarden.org in memory of Larry Carlson.
