She was predeceased by: her parent Deborah S Sockel; and her stepgrandparents, Richard Haines and JoAnne Sockel. She is survived by: her parent Debbie Sockel; her children, Landyn Klasing and Aalayah Klasing; her godfather Denis Kerasotes; her brother Keith Klasing (Kristin); her grandparents, Anasue "Abby" Haines and Adam Sockel Jr.; her aunt Anasue Botz (Ron); and her uncle David Sockel (Laurie). She is also survived by several other extended family members and friends.

Memorial donations can be made to the family of Lauren Klasing for her children's education fund.
