He was predeceased by: his brother Jackie (Georgia) of Tulsa, OK.; and his uncle J. B. Baskett of Springfield. He is survived by: his wife Mary Baskett (Creviston); his sons, Larry D. Baskett, Jr. and Brian M. Baskett (Rachael); his grandchildren, Logan, Keagan, Ellie, Ted, Avery, Kane and Kaycie; and his great grandchild Barrett Dale.
