It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Alan Von Behren MD of Springfield, Illinois, born in Effingham, Illinois, who passed away on December 6, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus VonBehren and Elverna VonBehren (Koontz); and his stepson Kevin Blake. He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Von Behren (Steve) of Iowa City, IA and Rebecca VonBehren of Iowa City, IA; his grandchildren, Nora Rose Carey and Atticus Von Behren; his stepgranddaughter Victoria Bilyeu; and his sister Carol Von Behren of Hobart, IN..
