She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence "Sonny" Mehlberg and Verlaine Mehlberg (Riemenschneider); and her husband David Caruso. She is survived by: her daughter Kristina Barber of Edinburg; her grandsons, Charles David Barber (Allison) of Pawnee, Michael Barber of Auburn and Adam Barber of Charleston; and her great grandchildren, Lily, Ava and Aiden.
