We are sad to announce that on March 18, 2025, at the age of 95, Kathryn McGown of Springfield, Illinois, born in Taylorville, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Kathryn is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Kathryn's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Thelma Elizabeth Sigley and John Christian Rasmussen; her spouse Russell Lee McGown; and also, John Logan, Mary Elise Sigley and Mary Alice Sigley Burke.
Memorial contributions may be made to Animal Protective League or to Shriner's Hospital for Children.
