She was predeceased by: her parents, Corrine Shipp and Archie Shipp of Springfield; and her brother Donald Shipp. She is survived by: her daughters, Rachel Beard of Springfield, Illinois and Sabrina Beard of Springfield, Illinois; her cousins, Janice Hilton of Chicago, Illinois and George Smith (Gloria) of Houston, Texas; and her nieces, Marilyn Gary of Chicago, Illinois, Asenath Wilburn (Rob) of Dallas, Texas and Stacy Moore (Russell) of Coon Rapids.
