It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joy Hillman of Springfield, Illinois, born in Quincy, Illinois, who passed away on September 19, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Duane Hillman and Zoe Merriam Hillman; her brothers, Dean and Frank Hillman; and her great grandchild Maryelle Weatherford.
She is survived by: her former husband Charles A. Borrowman of Nebo; her children, Zoe Chase of Springfield, Ginger Bruce of Mattoon, David Borrowman of Meredosia and Carie Jo Borrowman of Springfield; and her brother Earl Hillman of Pleasant Hill. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Memorials may be made to the Harman House Museum in Pleasant Hill.
