She was predeceased by: her parents, James Humphrey and Bertha Humphrey (Elmore); her spouse Olan Dougherty; her son Alan S. Dougherty; and her siblings, Maxine Prior, Betty Stull, Martha Wilson, Donna Cook and Jimmie Humphrey.
She is survived by: her daughter Beth Dougherty of Springfield; her grandchildren, Rebecca Seward, Dawn Seward, Tara Yon (Matt), Theresa Seward Allen (Terry), Alan Lee Dougherty (Susan) and Diana Moss (Willie); her great grandchildren, Jason Barclay (Caylin), Elizabeth Cruse, Cody Mitchell, Myla Seward, Matthew Yon Jr., Levi Yon, Logan Yon, Lorryn Allen, Austin Allen, Zander Dougherty, Abby Moss and Ayerana Moss; and her great great grandchild Fiona Barclay. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Eastview Baptist Church (2260 E Black Ave, Springfield, IL 62702). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
