He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose B. Sr. Sy-Quimsiam and Estelita G. Sy-Quimsiam; and his brother Romeo Gigante Sy-Quimsiam. He is survived by: his children, Jojo Saldana Sy-Quimsiam of Guam, Jonathan Marc (Jennipher Pham) of San Jose, CA and Cathleen-Faye Agustin (Mel) of San Diego, CA; his grandchildren, Miette Sy-Quimsiam, Micah Agustin, Zane Sy-Quimsiam and Chance Agustin; and his sisters, Estela G. Sy-Quimsiam, Susan S. Angeles and Ophelia S. Servillas. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
