He was predeceased by: his parents, Herndon L. Plowman and Harriet Mitchell Plowman; and his son Michael Plowman. He is survived by: his children, Michelle Brueggeman (Bud) of Plainview, Marne Loosenort (Bob) of Hazel, KY and Dustin Plowman of Waverly. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
