John Patrick Kelly Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 23, 2023, at the age of 87, John Patrick Kelly of Springfield, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Kelly and Ellen Mahady Kelly; and his siblings, Winifred Gardner, Helen Todd, Josephine Lloyd, Isabelle Carey, Catherine Baker, Joseph Henry Kelly, Rita Roderick and Alice Maureen Kelly.
He is survived by: his wife Norma McCullough Kelly; and his children, Chris Kelly (Gae) of Springfield, Maria Stacy of Highlands Ranch, CO, Dan Kelly (Shannon) of Federal Way, WA, Colleen McDonald of Springfield, Patrick Kelly of Springfield, Terry Kelly (Anne) of Tempe, AZ and Ellen Giacomini of Springfield. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to Blessed Sacrament Parish and School, which educated Pat's seven children and of which he had been a parishioner throughout his adult life.
