He was predeceased by: his parents, Mortimer E. Berman and Catherine Berman (Cunningham); and his brother Jay Berman. He is survived by: his wife Karen Ooton; his children, Aimee Mayland (Eric) of Springfield, Jason Berman (Anne Marie) of Chicago, Helen Berman of Louisville, KY and Bryan Berman of Louisville, KY; his grandsons, Adam and Noah Mayland; and his sister Maggie Dresch of Crestview, FL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
