It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Mark Patton of Springfield, Illinois, born in Staunton, Illinois, who passed away on September 14, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter J. Patton and Rosemary A. Baumann Patton; and his brother George S. Patton. He is survived by: his sisters, Penny Noel (Mike) of Chesterfield, MO, Connie Patton Stelbrink of Springfield and Michelle "Mickey" Lauer (Brian) of Springfield; his nieces, Allie Brent of Jacksonville, FL and Angela Christanson (Ben) of Chesterfield, MO; and his nephew Alex Noel of Chesterfield, MO.
