It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Joseph Senalik of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on January 17, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Frank and Lottie Senalik (Waschevscki); and his brother Thomas Senalik (Edith Fox). He is survived by: his sons, Larry Senalik (Diane) of Pleasant Plains and Douglas Senalik (Mary Palmer) of Madison, WI; his stepsons, Michael Davis (Brandi) of Nashville, TN and Larry Davis (Janice) of St. Charles, MO; his grandchildren, Christopher Adam Senalik (Greg Abbott), Brooke Sullivan (Timothy), Matthew Senalik, Kara Merryman (Ryan), Michael Davis (Whitney), Jake Davis and Sydni Farhat (Jordan); his great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Jackson, Braelyn, Isaiah and Sloan; his sister Donna Davis (Don) of Springfield; and his sister-in-law Barbara Senalik of Springfield. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (2477 W Washington St, Springfield, IL 62702).
