He was predeceased by: his parents, Daivd W. Maloney and Emily Schulz Maloney; and his brothers, Mike and James "Pat" Maloney. He is survived by: his children, Cyndi Maloney of Springfield and Dan Maloney (Ann) of Urbana; his grandchildren, J. D. Maloney (Hilarie) and Laura Pelc (Wade); his great grandchildren, Leo Pelc, Levi Maloney, Ardyn Pelc and Haven Pelc; and his siblings, Sharon Adams (Charlie) of Springfield, Mary Beth Maloney of Springfield, Marti Ellwood (Kevin) of Lawrenceville, GA, David Maloney, Jr. (Pauline) of Dubuque, IA and Steve Maloney (Diane) of Phoenix, AZ. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Old Salem Cemetery.
