He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Marie Klit. He is survived by: his wife Toni Horsefield; his sons, John E. Klint (Allison) of Springfield and Jerad A. Klint (Sherrie) of Elburn; his grandchildren, Katie, Joey, Abby and Brooke Klint; and his sister Carol Wigans (Allen) of Newton, Iowa. He is also survived by 1 niece, 2 nephews and 14 cousins.
