With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John A. Goldsberry Sr. of Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on August 23, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Anthony and Ann Marie Takacs Goldsberry; his siblings, Mary Ann Harris and Jerry Goldsberry; and his grandson Gabriel Lowell Goldsberry.
He is survived by: his wife Edith Mae Ramshaw; his children, Terry Betz (Nancy) of Spaulding, Randy Betz (Jackie) of Taylorville and John Goldsberry, Jr. (Tricia) of Lincoln; and his siblings, Ann Moreland (Duane) of Springfield, James Goldsberry, Sr. (Shirley) of Springfield and Bill Goldsberry, Sr. (Linda) of Springfield. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.
