It is with great sadness that we announce the death of JoeAnn Woodard of Springfield, Illinois, born in Mound Bayou, Mississippi, who passed away on October 21, 2023, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Lee Ross and Clarence Jr. Ross; her daughter Brianne Jackson; and her siblings, Ora D. Ross, Mary Ann Sanders and Clarence Antonio Ross (DeShandra) of Leland, MS.
She is survived by: her daughters, Chyanne Bunch (Devyn) of Decatur, IL, Evannah Jackson of Rantoul, IL, LeAndrea Jackson of Rantoul, IL, Lanaya Jackson of Rantoul, IL and Jariah Jackson of Rantoul, IL; and her siblings, Errol Sanders of Springfield, IL, James Carter of Springfield, IL, Jacqueline Holmes (Jerry) of Mound Bayou, MS, Carla Olaniyi (Earl) of Rantoul, IL, Keisha Carter of Springfield, IL, Tenisha Ross (Troy) of Decatur, IL, Carleen Ross of Springfield, IL, Patricia Ross of Springfield, IL, Kimberly Ross of Springfield, IL and Vanita Carter of Springfield, IL. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
