He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Raymond and Lorean Hylia Patterson (Waters); his wife Bonnie Perkins; his daughter Terri Dobson; and his sister Betty Waldrop.
He is survived by: his son Larry Patterson (Brenda) of Spaulding; his son-in-law Howard "Buck" Dobson of Chandlerville, IL; his grandsons, Lucas Patterson (Amy) of Rochester, Mitchell Patterson of Kansas City, MO and Andrew Kother of Florida; his great grandchildren, Camryn, Brenton Patterson and Lily Kother; and his siblings, Sharon Osburn (Jack) of Springfield, Bobby Patterson (Wanita) of Virden, Gary Patterson (Catherine) of Kingston, WA, Jimmy Patterson (Judy) of Springfield, Mike Patterson (Sue) of Springfield and Jerry Patterson (Delores) of Modesto, IL. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
