She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Hill and Lillian Cundiff (Cohee); her daughters, Tracy Hinds (Lutes) and Vickie Lutes; and her brothers, Larry Hill and Roger Hill.

She is survived by: her husband David Lutes; her daughters, Sherry Claussen (Dennis), Shelly Sheehan (Gale) and Monica Melton; her grandchildren, Luke Melton, Amy Sheehan (Willie), Zane Hinds, Karen Kessler (Sam), Kayla Claussen, Heather McDonald (Brandon), Micah Sheehan (Fallon), Wyatt Knoles, Kaylee, Kassondra, Leah, Landon, Gracyn, Adelia, Samuel, Gale, Leighton, Lincoln and Vivian; her great great grandchild Lennix; and her siblings, Donald Hill, Kenneth Hill and Laurena Barlow.

Memorial contributions in honor of JoAnn can be made to Kaylee Eylar, JoAnn's great-granddaughter who is battling stage 4 cancer.
