It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeffrey Robert Payne of Springfield, Illinois, born in Taylorville, Illinois, who passed away on October 5, 2021, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Allen Ray; and his grandparents, Bob, Mary Wignot and Laferne Otto. He is survived by: his mother Clare Ann Wignot Payne of Springfield; his daughter Chelsea Prost (Brian) of Seven Hills, OH; his siblings, Cindy Weiskopf (Ed) of Athens and Mike Payne of Springfield; his niece Samantha Jensen; and his nephew Michael Payne II. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
