It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janet E. Davis of Springfield, Illinois, born in Riverton, Illinois, who passed away on August 12, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Michael and Garnet Leona Hawkins March; her husband James Jefferson Davis; her son Jim Davis; and her brother William Lloyd March.
She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Ann Todd (Bob) of Springfield, Susan K. Wilkins (Chad) of Springfield, Andrew Lynn Davis of Springfield and Michael Wayne Davis (Jennie) of Springfield; and her sister Adelaide Farris of Rochester. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren.
