Jan J. Staggs Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jan J. Staggs (Springfield, Illinois), who passed away on April 22, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Staggs and Ruth I. Trueblood Staggs. He is survived by: his wife Francie; his daughters, Marcia Vogelsburg (Wayne) and Sherry Daley (Michael); and his grandchildren, April Biggs (Justin), Amy Vogelsburg, Lexa Vogelsburg, Morgan Daley (Don Driscoll) and Griffin Daley. He is also survived by one nephew and two nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jan's name to the University of Illinois Foundation to support student athletes.
