He was predeceased by: his parents, Raleigh McAfee and Ora McAfee (Dermint); his siblings, Dan, George, Harold, Lillian Heimgartner, Bob, Leroy and Charles; his son Lance Edward McAfee; and his siblings-in-law, Betty, Eileen, Rose, Jeanette and Robert Heimgartner.
He is survived by: his children, Fred (Tammy), Jim (Cathy), Raymond (Kathy), Randy (Carrie Balderson) and Tammy McAfee Knotts (Russ Helm); his grandchildren, Ali, Amanda McAfee, Jeremy, Sam, Sydney McAfee, Ian, Eli McAfee, Hayley McAfee, Ashleigh, Mackenzie Knotts, Christinna McMillan (Daniel) and Cory Melcher (Natasha); his brother Donald McAfee; and his sisters-in-law, Josephine McAfee and Patricia McAfee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Children's Dyslexia Center of Springfield or charity of choice.
