He was predeceased by: his father Clarence Wartenbe (Bunn); and his daughter Debbie. He is survived by: his wife Doris Allmon; his children, James Wartenbe, Jr. (Quinn), Jerald Wartenbe (Charlene), Dorothy Wartenbe (Brian) and Charlotte Wartenbe; and his brother David Dean Wartenbe.
