He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence D. McCrocklin and Katherine A. McCrocklin (Dawson); his granddaughter Laura Beth McCrocklin; his stepson Tony Martin; and his siblings, Jack, Robert, Lyle McCrocklin, Betty Gale and Katherine Hare.

He is survived by: his children, Christie Austin (Roger) of Chrisman and David McCrocklin (Kelly) of Paris; and his stepchildren, T. J. Martin (Jennifer) of Paris and April Vinyard (Tyler) of Springfield. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

For those who wish, the family suggests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to Chaddock of Quincy, Illinois.
