James Arthur Walker Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Walker and Dorthea Walker (Johnson); his wife Jowanna James; and his grandchildren, Isabelle and Jackson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Suzanne Bartlett (Sean), Stephanie Beam (Tim) and Hilary Bush (Dale); his grandchildren, Mike, Mackenzie, Jacob, Taylor, Madi, Morgan, Dan, Beau, Levi and Elliott; his sister Sandra Blakley (Dallas); his niece Belinda Adelman; and his nephew Derek Blakley. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Butler Funeral Home- Springfield (900 S 6th St, Springfield, IL 62703). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Central Baptist Church (504 S 4th St, Springfield, IL 62703).
