It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ian Nelson (Springfield, Illinois), born in Rochester, Illinois, who passed away on October 1, 2018, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John T. Nelson and Goldia M. Nelson (Davis); his spouse Virginia M. Wesley; and his sister Jean. He is survived by: his children, Ian "Rob" Nelson, Carrie Zachgo (Vern) and Michelle Carlisle (Mike); his siblings, Alex, Margaret "Peigi" Strode and Dianna Kelly; and his grandchildren, Katie Willoughby (Cameron), Jonathan Nelson, Kimberly, Maria and Michael Carlisle. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
